Safer Sex Education - GMHC distributes more than 500,000 pieces of educational literature annually, and holds safer sex workshops and forums for thousands of people all over the New York City area. GM HC's Education Department is the world's largest non-governmental distributor of AIDS prevention materials.
Child-Life Programs - Numerous Child-Life Programs provide babysitting, outings and other support to HIV-positive children, their siblings and parents. GMHC also provides services to the children of HIV-positive parents.
Hot Meals Program - In addition to nutritional counseling and workshops, GMHC serves more than 50,000 free meals every year. Every month, GMHC's Child Life food pantry dispenses food packages to families experiencing financial hardship due to AIDS.
The AIDS Hotline - The AIDS hotline handles more than 60,000 calls each year. AIDS information is availible in English, Spanish and for the hearing-impaired.

Peer Education - the training of youths to be able to go into the community ad teach their peers about Safer Sex and AIDS.
Project First Step - a program designed for homeless youths, provides them meals, a place to shower, clothing, and a laundery service.
Counseling - trained experts to help glbt-youths, and their families emotionally.
