Unitarian and Unitarian Universalist societies in Canada are members of the Canadian Unitarian Council / Conseil Unitarien Du Canada (CUC).

The newsletter, The Canadian Unitarian, is published five times a year. Please submit news, photos, comments and letters to Liz Kind, 1115 160A Street, White Rock, British Columbia V4A 7G9, Canada. One of the most-repeated requiests made to the CUC is for Canadian materials, for both adults and children. We now have a Publications flyer, a brochure with a complete listing of materials now available. The following materials are also in preparation:

• "Connecting With the Earth," a multi-generational programme which celebrated the natural world in Canada, is being field-tested this fall and wil be ready for publication next spring.
• "Power to the People", and action-oriented programme using the interconnected issues of poverty, development and peace to explore ways of changing the world around us, is also being field-tested this fall.
• Peg Gooding is working on a new curriculum on Universalism in Canada.
• The South Fraser congregation is preparing study materials on issues related to death and dying, which will be circulated to societyies for their input, preparatory to developing a position paper -- if there is enough agreement to do so.
• A group spearheaded by Sheilah Thompson and Harold Rosen is working on a Canadian programmed on multi-cultural and multi-faith issues. Most UUA material in this area is very U.S. oriented, and the need for something with a Canadian focus is apparent.
