LAMBDA's Anti-Violence Project (AVP) provides victim services to survivors of hate crimes, domestic violence, sexual assault, and other crimes. AVP's services include crime prevention & education, a 24-hour bilingual (English-Spanish) hotline, peer-to-peer support groups, and accompaniment to and advocacy with police, the courts, and other service providers. The LAMBDA Anti-Violence Project serves all persons who experience harassment, discrimination or violence.We offer tips to avoid becoming a victim. If you are involved in such an incident, contact your local police and the HATE-CRIME NETWORK.If you aren't sure that something was actually a hate crime or not, we'd still like to hear from you. Thousands of people turn to LAMBDA every year for information and assistance. |
