The case began 5 years ago, when an El Al employee sued because his partner of 10 years was denied free flying priveledges on the airline, a benefit granted to married spouses. The case is considered to have national importance. AP mentions another case involves a surviving gay partner of an Israelli Army Officer who is suing the government for survivor's benefits is pending before the Israelli courts. Does anyone know where an english translation of this decision might be available? Scott, who is not a lawyer but is interested in DP benefit issues
