Fist BIG news is that on December, 17th, 
                         "Azione Omosessuale" 
was officially founded in Rome. Azione Omosessuale will be a federation of 
indipended italian G/L groups working around the country. Some of the aims 
of A.O. are to echange informations, share projects between the member 
groups, defend the G/L image and right, help local groups to work better and 
 have more strenght.

The founder groups are:
InformaGay - Turin (my group and the group running the secretariat office)
Circolo di Cultura Omosessuale "Mario Mieli" - Rome
Il tram dei devianti - Genoa
I Baci - Perugia
Le FiFi' - Florence

Every G/L group in Italy is free to join Azione Omosessuale and is, of 
course, wellcome!

The first two big project we are working at are a national G/L meeting on 
the subject "G/L meeting each other". We'd like to talk and share 
experiences about how, why G/L meet each other, the places, the actions, the 
attitude, the building of G/L identity and so on. It will take place in Rome 
in April.
The second event will be the organizatin of a Omosexual Day during a big 
Conference/Exhibition about "sex" that will be held in Turin in May. Azione 
Omosessuale will organize all the event during that day (exhibition, 
debates, shows).
We beleive that those will be good occasion for G/L to meet each other, 
talk, discuss about our life, our lifestyle, our problems and to create a 
bigger and stronger feeling of beeing members of a Gay and Lesbian Community.
