Subject: KAZAKSTAN: decriminalization of sodomy

According to Amnesty International in London, Kazakstan's new criminal code
does no longer criminalize consenting sexual acts among men:

"We have just received a copy of the new criminal code in Kazakstan and can
now confirm that same-sex relations between consenting adults is no longer
a criminal offence in Kazakstan.  Article 121 in the new criminal code only
punishes "non-consenting" homosexual relations, including with the use of
force and with a minor."
