Argentinian Sisters Now Have Their Own Space
****************************************************
In Buenos Aires, Argentina, La Casa de las Lunas, "House of the
Moons," is to open its doors. Though it is the first space created in
Argentina for and by lesbians, it is open to all women.  Women from
diverse sectors of lesbian and feminist communities will converge at 
House of the Moons, a space where they can count on enjoying an
environment of coming together in solidarity, where differences are
respected and visibility is possible. This prospect has engendered many
projects and activities, including the following: attention to the
psychological needs of lesbians (lesbian feminist therapy), groups for
reflection and for study, workshops in artistic expression (plastic arts,
music, writing, theater, mime, etc.), a library, foreign language classes, a
movie discussion circle, and live performances. 

A new era is beginning for lesbians in Argentina.  We are writing a new
history and the most important thing is that each and every one of us has
a page to write.
