Because of this broad-based support we have decided that you, our supporters, deserve to know how much money was raised and how it was spent. We therefore submit the following financial information about our campaign: Revenues: Cash $3279 In-kind contributions 582 ----- Total Revenues: $3861 Expenditures: Fund raising $ 181 Communications 784 Printing 2087 Postage/shipping 156 Supplies/Misc. 81 ----- Total Expenses: $3289 ----- Current Balance (7/17/94) $ 572 With ongoing expenses, such as minimum time commitment to our cellular phone system, and expenses unreported to date, we anticipate an ending balance of less than one hundred dollars. We would like to thank Queer Nation/Seattle for its cash contribution of $525.00, the single largest contribution that we received during the campaign, on that came at a time of critical cash shortage for Bigot Busters and enabled us to keep the organization going. We also extend our gratitude to the following businesses and organizations which helped us sell and distribute our bumper stickers: Bailey-Coy Books, CC Slaughters, Changes, Changes Too, The Crypt, The Cuff, Erotic Bakery, District and County Organizations of the Democratic Party, The Eagle, Freedom Socialist Party Bookstore, Gallery Cafe, Hands Off Washington information tables and statewide (county) coalitions, Imprints Bookstore (Tacoma), Lesbian Resource Center, several MCC churches around the state, The Pink Zone, Post Option, PFLAG, Queen Anne Ave. Books, R Place, The Romper Room, Seattle Eagle, Stampola, The Timberline, Thumpers, Time Out Tavern, The Wildrose and others. A special thanks to Pilgrim Congregational Church for the use of their facilities and providing space for our training meetings. Kudos to the Seattle Gay News for providing us with the phone line that was all important in our communications and dispatching system and for repeatedly publishing our hotline number week after week so that it was readily available to the community. And to all the individuals who gave so generously of their time, money and moral support, and with whom we share this victory, our sincere thank you! Yours truly, Bill Dubay Treasurer
