CALLING ALL CONTESTANTS!!!

WMsL Contest co-chairs, in conjunction with Generic Leather
Productions of Washington, are currently holding an open call for all
women of the leather community to compete in the 1998 Washington State
Ms. Leather Contest, to be held on May 2nd, 1998. To compete, a
contestant must have female ID, have filled out a contestant packet,
and be available for events on both Friday, May 1st, and Saturday, May
2nd.

Washington State Ms. Leather, a GLPW-owned title, is a community title
that requires the titleholder to produce at least two fund-raising
events per year. The WMsL titleholder must also interact on a social
level with the leather community at large, both in and outside of
Washington State, as a representative of the Washington State leather
community. Qualified contestants should not only have a working
knowledge of the local leather community, but should also have good
organizational and communication skills necessary for use in producing
events and in encouraging leather community members to participate.

The winner of this contest will become an automatic member of Generic
Leather Productions of Washington (GLPW), which will help the
titleholder throughout her title year with advice, assistance, and a
travel stipend.

Women of any orientation can compete in the Washington State Ms.
Leather Contest. Those interested in competing may leave questions or

Greetings,

        There were two errors on the recent publicity statements sent out
about the WMsL 1998 contest that I would like to correct. If the
aforementioned publicity statements have already been publicized, please
just issue the corrections.

Error #1:
"Contests are run financially with the help of sponsors, advertisers,
and prize donators. Sponsorship for this contest begins at $200 per
sponsorship package,"

        This should read:
"Contests are run financially with the help of sponsors, advertisers,
and prize donators. Sponsorship for this contest begins at $150 per
sponsorship package,"

Error #2:
"The winner of this contest will become an automatic member of Generic
Leather Productions of Washington (GLPW), which will help the
titleholder throughout her title year with advice, assistance, and a
travel stipend."

        This should read:
"The winner of this contest has the option of applying for membership in
Generic Leather Productions of Washington (GLPW). The title also provides
for a travel stipend for the titleholder's year."


        If you could please place these corrections in the publicity you
send out/have, I would appreciate it.
