GLUD unveils Target '94 campaign

SALT LAKE CITY - Gay and Lesbian Utah Democrats leaders announced today the
group's plans for Target '94, a volunteer and financial resource for 31
pro-bisexual, gay and lesbian Utah Democratic campaigns which have been
recommended by GLUD.

People wishing to contribute to these campaigns may mail checks directly to
the campaigns or may give their contributions to GLUD for delivery to a
specific campaign or several campaigns. People wishing to volunteer for these
campaigns may volunteer directly to the campaigns or may volunteer to GLUD
for appointment to a campaign or several campaigns.

GLUD leaders have recommended the campaigns of Pat Shea for U.S. senator;
Karen Shepherd and Bobbie Coray for U.S. representatives; Robert Steiner,
Blaze Wharton, Scott Leckman, Ed Mayne and Millie Peterson for Utah senators;
Pete Suazo, Frank Pignanelli, Dave Jones, Steve Barth, Loretta Baca, Gene
Davis, Mary Carlson, Judy Ann Buffmire, Jack Elizondo, Bea Peck, Patrice
Speigel, Sara Eubank, Tanya Henrie, Wendy Lewis and Cheri Garner for Utah
representatives; David Swan for Salt Lake County assessor; Allan Moll for
Salt Lake County attorney; Kevin Whatcott for Salt Lake County auditor;
Sherrie Swensen for Salt Lake County clerk; Jim Bradley and Randy Horiuchi
for Salt Lake County commissioners; Pete Kutulas for Salt Lake County sheriff
