GLUD joins Idaho's No On One campaign

SALT LAKE CITY - Gay and Lesbian Utah Democrats leaders announced today that
the group will be sponsoring another GLUD Fa*a*abulous Fun Bus trip to
Wendover, Nevada on Saturday, September 10, as a fund-raising event to help
fight Idaho's homophobic Initiative One which would prohibit laws which
protect the equal rights of bisexual, gay and lesbian people there.

"It's vital that Utahns help fight this hateful Colorado-style initiative,"
GLUD Chair Michael Aaron said. "This is a fun way for us to help Idaho put
the lid back on the radical right."

The bus will leave the northwest parking lot of the Utah Capitol Building at
3:00 p.m. and will return by 1:00 a.m. Attendees will receive $7 in cash back
at the Stateline Hotel and Casino, $2 in food, two drinks, two Keno tickets,
$2 in Lucky Bets and $5 off future GLUD Fa*a*abulous Fun Bus trips for a
total of $24 back in cash and coupons. Tickets are available before Sept. 3
for $21. Remaining seats will be sold at the bus before departure for $24.
Additional contributions for the No On One campaign can be made to GLUD.
