American Educational Gender Information Service, Inc.
For immediate release.  Please circulate.

        During the December meeting of the board of AEGIS, Dallas Denny
announced her intention to resign as Executive Director, effective at the
beginning of April.  The Board reluctantly accepted Ms. Denny's resignation.

        Applications for a new Executive Director are being accepted by
Marisa Richmond, the Chair of the AEGIS Board (P.O. Box 92335, Nashville, TN
37209) and Gianna Israel, the Vice Chair of the AEGIS Board (P.O. Box
424447,  San Francisco, CA 94142).  Applicants are asked to submit a cover
letter outlining professional and gender community accomplishments and
interest in the position.  The applicant should also submit a recent c.v.
and at least one letter of recommendation.  Applications need to be received
by March 15, 1998.
