Two bills in the the South Carolina House of Representatives are
designed to take away rights from bisexuals, lesbians, and gays and
treat us as second class citizens.  H3569 would ban gays, lesbians
and bisexuals from serving in the South Carolina National Guard.
H3649 wold deny gays, lesbians, and bisexuals the right to be foster
parents and the right to adopt children.  Both bills are currently
before the House Medical, Military, Public, and Municipal Affairs
Committee. H3649 has been assigned to sub-committee 5 chaired by
Sandra Wofford. 

Make your opposition to these attempts to legislate bigotry known.
You can (1) write or call your representative, Dave Waldrop, chair of
the Committee, and Sandra Wofford, chair of subcommittee 5 and tell
them you oppose these attempts to discriminate against bisexuals,
lesbians, and gays and (2) call the committee offices and register
your opposition to the bills. If you are able and willing to testify
before a subcommittee ask to be given notice of when you can speak
against these bills.
