Here's the good news: - Radio and television stations have refused to run the OCA's ads because they are inaccurate and misleading. The voters are incredulous at OCA allegations that gays were behind the Holocaust. - In the meantime, No on 13 ads are reaching voters around the state with the message that discrimination is real and that its wrong. - The polls are running in our favor - 55% No on 13, 30% Yes on 13, 14% Undecided. Here's the bad news: - In low voter turnout elections the OCA does well. That's because the supporters of the OCA get out to vote every time. - We have to make sure that the people who believe in defending everyone's basic rights get to the polls on November 8th if we are going to win. - All of the other good work that has already been done does not guarantee a defeat of Measure 13. THAT'S WHY WE NEED YOU NOW! VOTER CONTACT AND MOBILIZATION ARE THE KEY FOCUS. Voter identification phone banks are happening every day. Literature distribution door-to-door can be done en masse with others or on your own time and schedule. Vote early by absentee ballot and take election day day off (or as many hours as you can get away with) to help get out the vote and do visibility activities. OFFICES Statewide - P.O.
