Under the supervision of the Managing Director, the administrative assistant will handle all office, administrative work in addition to special projects as assigned. GenderPAC is exploding with new growth - the successful applicant must be a highly organized self-starter, proactive and detail oriented. SKILLS: Required: Database, Email, Basic bookkeeping, Word processing, Spreadsheets Desired: Quicken, Credit Card processing, Web site and ListServ maintenance RESPONSIBILITIES: Manage correspondence via email, membership and mailing lists Help produce benefits, fundraisers and events Coordinate conference calls, meetings for staff and board of directors Coordinate presence at annual LGBT and feminist conferences, colleges and events QUALIFICATIONS: · Excellent oral and writing skills · Ability to work as part of a team in a fast paced environment · Computer and Internet literacy (MS Word, MS Excel, Quicken and Access a must). Web Administration a plus. · Knowledge of and commitment to working in a non-profit organizational setting and experience with feminist and l/g/b/t community is preferred COMPENSATION: Salary commensurate with experience.
