Freedom to Marry:
A forum on Gay and Lesbian Civil Marriage

Monday, March 11 at 7 pm

At the Lovelace Education Building Auditorium at 5400 Gibson SE,
Albuquerque, NM (opposite Valencia, at the southern end of the Lovelace
complex.)

Speakers:
Jennifer Pizer, Managing Attorney for the Western Region Office of Lamdba
Legal Defense and Education Fund;
Jean Genasci, National Vice President of Parents, Families and Friends of
Lesbians and Gays (P-FLAG), and a member of the National Freedom to Marry
Coalition;
Loretta Libby Atkins, President of the New Mexico Lesbian and Gay Bar
Association (NMLGBA);
Tony Escudero, NM AIDS Services, who recently married his partner.

Moderated by Steven Homer, of the New Mexico Lesbian and Gay Political
Alliance, and NMLGBA

The Hawaii marriage case will be settled within 2 years, and already, the
radical right has called for a Constitutional Amendment in New Mexico to
prohibit same-gender marriage.
