By a vote of 29-12, the Nevada State Assembly today confirmed Senate Bill 466, which effectively repealed the 82 year old "Infamous Crime Against Nature" Law. A vote of 28 in favor was required to guarantee that there could not be a gubernatorial veto, but Governor Bob Miller had already stated last week that he would sign the bill once it was through the assembly. With the passage of SB 466, Nevada leaves the ranks of states with homosexual-only sodomy laws, as well as those with any sodomy laws at all.
