I hope you will be interested in learning more about an amazing play,
Mother/SON, that comes to Bowker Auditorium at UMass on Friday,
October 29th, 1999 at 8:00 PM.

MotherSON is a one-man play performed by Emmy Award-nominated Jeffrey
Solomon.  This play explores the hilarious and poignant relationship between
a Jewish mother and her gay son.  In their struggle to understand each
other, they take a journey of mutual discovery and they bring the audience
along for a wild roller coaster of a ride.  It has been described as "A
universally moving story of love and friendship."  Solomon has created a
heartfelt story that touches the soul.

Mother/SON is sponsored by the UMass Stonewall Center, The Office of Jewish
Affairs, the GLBT GSO, the Greater Springfield PFLAG Chapter, and partially
funded by the UMass Arts Council and a grant from the Governor's Commission
on Gay and Lesbian Youth. Please join us for the show on Friday, October 29
at 8 PM in Bowker Auditorium to experience the show for yourself.  Mark
