                                 ANNOUNCING

                LAMBDA ASSOCIATION OF BOSTON COLLEGE GRADUATES

   The Lambda Association of Boston College Graduates was formed nearly
three years ago to provide an opportunity for gay, lesbian, bisexual, and
other non-heterosexual B.C. graduates to feel connected to and be
involved with the Boston College community.
   The Lambda Association holds an annual dinner to recognize individuals
(students, faculty, staff, alumni, and others) who have contributed most
to fostering acceptance of diverse sexual orientations within the B.C.
community. This spring, the Association is also planning to sponsor an
event (probably a luncheon or wine and cheese reception) during alumni
weekend. The Lambda Association also sponsors the Lambda Fund, an
alternative way for alumni/ae to suport the lesbian-gay-bisexual community
at Boston College.
   Over 150 alumni, faculty, students, and guests attended last year's
recognition dinner, held in Lyons Hall on the BC campus. This year's
recognition dinner will be held on May 14. If you are a B.C. graduate and
are interested in joining the Lambda Association or in attending the
recognition dinner or the alumni weekend event, please send e-mail to Bob

The Association would also very much appreciate the efforts of anyone who
can volunteer time to plan events and help with publicity. Please contact
