NASW has requested that the committee meet to discuss the resurgence of the Theocratic agenda. Specific questions to be addressed at the meeting include: how can NASW effectively lobby for civil rights protection and anti-hate crime legislation, how can NASW make these issues more visible in the Kansas City chapter and membership and how the NASW chapter can support Lesbian and Gay colleagues.
