        This morning's Kansas City Star (10/18/94) reported that the
        Christian Coalition is planning to distribute a total of 33
        million voter guides nationwide before the November elections.
        Kansas and Missouri will not be spared. The guide will focus on
        their "pro-family" agenda and will rank candidates.  These issues
        include term limits, taxation, gambling, abortion, gay rights, the
        death penalty, gun control and school choice. These guides will be
        mailed, distributed at shopping centers, left on car windshields,
        etc. It is hard to predict whether their propaganda will
        primarily annoy or influence voters but it might be worthwhile to
        think about a little counter-strategy here.
