Subject: Gay/Bi men sought for KS-CDC

MEN WHO HAVE SEX WITH MEN SOUGHT FOR COMMITTEE


TOPEKA - The Kansas HIV Prevention Community Planning Commission is seeking
men who have sex with men to serve on a committee to determine the needs of
HIV prevention efforts in their peer groups.
     "It is important that these men articulate for and have expertise in
understanding and addressing the specific HIV prevention needs of the
populations they represent," said Jeanine Ambrosio, planning coordinator for
the Bureau of Disease Control.
     Men under the age of 30, men of color, men who are recovering substance
abusers, and especially men from central and rural Kansas are being sought
