Hopefully it will come to a vote in the House within a few days--to soon for letters to be effective. But the representatives can be phoned. According to infor- mation I got last night, the following representatives were still undecided about the bill: Ron Halvorsen Steve Hansen Tom Baker Merlin Bartz Dennis Black Phil Weise Dick Weidman Greg Spenner Don Hanson Clay Speer Bob Rafferty Lee Plaisier Clark McNeil Errol Pavich Mary Lundbee Gordon Burke Russell Eddy Pat Gill Chuck Gipp Steve Grubbs Jim Hahn Any of them can be phoned through the main House switchboard at 515-281-3221. It is possible to either to speak directly to a representative (if available) or to have his/her staff person tick off your support for the bill. Should the bill pass, the number for Gov. Terry Branstad is 515-281-5211. Bill Robboy wrobboy@umaxc.weeg.uiowa.edu blawlrwy@uiamvs.bitnet
