Buchanan, 56, recently gave up his spot on CNN's ``Crossfire,'' his newspaper column and his radio talk show in preparation for a run at the presidency, which he plans to announce Monday in Manchester, N.H. [N741] Dornan says he'll seek presidency Conservative Rep. Robert Dornan of Garden Grove says he will announce his candidacy for the Republican presidential nomination next month. Dornan, 61, is a hard-line opponent of abortion and gay rights and a frequent and vocal critic of President Clinton. Dornan announced his intentions Friday at an editorial board meeting at the Des Moines (Iowa) Register, and then at a St. Patrick's Day party for the Polk County Republican Party in Des Moines. He said a formal announcement would come next month in Exeter, N.H.
