I'm posting this for a friend of mine:

singaporean filmmaker Madeleine Lim is still looking for $$ to complete 
her new film: "Sambal Belacan in San Francisco", an experimential 
documentary about 3 singaporean lesbians in the Bay Area and their search 
for belonging and home.  The key issues Mad is exploring in this film are 
lesbian sexuality, cultural identity and immigration issues.

This is Mad's 2nd film, and this one has been shot in COLOR, 16mm, 27 
minutes.  She still needs $5000 to finish production of the film, so that 
it can be shown at:
the SF International Lesbian/Gay Film Festival this june!!!
