Local interest Long Beach California:

The Gay & Lesbian News Magazine will feature discussion and air the two PFLAG
public service announcements that Pat Robertson and others of his ilk find so
objectionable. The 30 second spots feature on air segments of the kinds of
hate speech that make Robertson, Helms and Falwell culpable for the suicides
and bashings of thousands of Gay men & Lesbians. Citizens of Long Beach will
get an opportunity to tell their own stories LIVE in this historic hour long
program. Copies will be sent off to PFLAG national headquarters the next day
as a record of what the people think about hate mongers like these so called
Christians.

This show airs LIVE in Long Beach at 7pm on Monday November 20th on CVI cable
channel 65 (57 on cable ready TV/VCR). Reaching over 65,000 homes in the Long
Beach / Signal Hill area of Los Angeles county (est. population 1/2 million).

"The News" has been on since march of 1990. LIVE telephone access provides
instant feedback to the issues and has proved on many occasions that the
"News" is one of the areas most watched and respected local programs.
