Your letters and phone calls in support of AB 2810 have produced 
another win! The bill recently passed out of the Assembly Ways and 
Means Committee on a 12-9 vote.

As you know, this bill will allow unmarried couples to take care 
of each other in health crises and emergency situations. AB 2810 
will give domestic partners, who register with the state, hospital 
visitation rights and conservatorship rights and will ease the 
process of willing property to each other.

We must step up our efforts to pass this important legislation, 
especially as we approach the next major legislative hurdle - the 
Assembly Floor.
 The full Assembly must vote on the bill before June 3.

I am enclosing a list of legislators who have not yet indicated 
their support for AB 2810. Please send each legislator listed a 
letter expressing your strong support of AB 2810
as soon as possible. Also remember to send me a copy of the 
letter. And again, please continue to generate additional letters 
of support by spreading the word to friends, family,
community groups and others.
