INDIE BLOCKBUSTER `BOYS DON'T CRY' WITH
ACTRESS HILARY SWANK AND DIRECTOR KIM PEIRCE.

WHAT: Get up close and personal on January 18th
with the star and director of `Boy's Don't Cry,'
the year's most powerful and provocative film.
Hilary Swank, who plays Brandon Teena and
director/filmmaker Kim Peirce will offer
exclusive no-holds-barred behind-the-scenes
accounts of the making of this Oscar-caliber
indie.

	Join Hilary Swank and Kim Peirce at an
intimate open-bar Cocktail Reception on
Riverside Drive overlooking the Hudson. Hot
and cold hors d'oeuvres will be served.
Following the Cocktail Reception is `The
Making of `Boy's Don't Cry'' co-sponsored
by The Lesbian & Gay Community Services
Center. Hilary Swank and Kim Peirce will
discuss making the film Variety dubbed the
`'Rebel Without A Cause' for these culturally
diverse and complex times' and which the
Village Voice called `Lurid, shocking…
awe-inspiring.' The event benefits GenderPAC
and its work with Congress to battle hate
crimes.
