Subject: Straight Spouse Support Network

I would like to have our network listed on the QRD List of Lists or 
comparable Resource List.

The Straight Spouse Support Network (SSSN) is a project of PFLAG and 
GLPCI, Gay and Lesbian Parents Coalition International.  SSSN is an 
international network of husbands and wives whose spouses have come 
out as gay, lesbian, bisexual, or transgendered.  Members provide 
confidential personal support and resource information to other 
straight spouses and their children as they come to terms with the 
new information about their mates.  Through communication with 
regional coordinators and individuals, spouses discover they are not 
alone, that healing can take place for everyone, that bridges of 
understanding can be built, and that their trauma can made an 
opporunity for transformation. The network serves also as a clearing 
house for information about factual readings, knowledgable therapists,
 and constructive support groups.
