NATIONAL LESBIAN & GAY LEADERS TO DISCUSS KEY ISSUES AT FORUM. (Washington, D.C.) -- Ten leaders of the lesbian and gay civil rights movement will discuss key issues with prominent gay journalists and the public one year following the historic "March on Washington" that attracted nearly one million people to the nation's capital in support of equal rights for sexual minorities. During the event's second half, participants will answer questions from the audience. Panel members are expected to discuss a wide range of current and proposed efforts designed to achieve equal rights for lesbian and gays nationwide and initiatives planned to combat anti-gay measures in several states. Moderator for the forum is Sean Collins, a senior producer for National Public Radio, CNN anchor Judy Woodruff will narrate a special taped presentation highlighting news coverage of gay issues in the past year.
