The Roundtable is an interfaith network of pro-gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender (GLBT) faith, spiritual, and religious organizations created to provide mutual support, to serve as an intersection between the secular and faith based activists, and to amplify the voice of GLBT people of faith in the public discourse. The Roundtable convenes two-day meetings every six months. The NGLTF Policy Institute provides staffing, gives organizational support to the Roundtable and pays all of the project costs. An interfaith coalition of activists, Equal Partners in Faith, serves as a co-convenor with NGLTF and provides technical assistance. _____________________________________________________________________ Founded in 1973, the National Gay and Lesbian Task Force works to eliminate prejudice, violence and injustice against gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgendered people at the local, state and national level.
