The National Gay & Lesbian Task Force Fight the Right Project
is hosting two very special "movement-building institutes."
The Institutes are designed for organizers and activists who want
to build a stronger movement and more compassionate communities
while combating the growing influence of the radical right-wing
in American politics and community life.

The Institutes will give us the opportunity to take stock
of how we are meeting the challenges presented by the radical right-wing and 
will allow us to assess what the impact the right-wing has had on our
social change work and our communities. The Institutes will also be a time
to talk about our aspirations, strategies and plans for action.
These Institutes will help us to take the offensive, turning
right-wing attacks into opportunities for building stronger and more
resilient relationships and alliances among justice-seeking people.

WHO SHOULD ATTEND: Activists and organizers who have stepped forward to take 
leadership in local and state projects to resist the right-wing,
whether in the arena of ballot initiatives or legislation or community
organizing; organizers who are leading efforts to work with people
different from themselves or who wish to do so; activists who are creating 
multicultural and multiracial political organizations in the communities
or who wish to do so.

Activists and organizers from Missouri, Kansas, Iowa, Nebraska, 
Oklahoma and Arkansas are encouraged to attend the Kansas City 
Movement Building Institute.

Activists and organizers from Colorado, Wyoming, Utah. Arizona, Nevada
and New Mexico are encouraged to attend the Denver Movement Building 
Institute.

REGISTRATION: There is NO registration fee for the Movement-Building
Institutes. HOWEVER - YOU MUST RESERVE SPACE FOR YOURSELF. Space is limited to 100 participants at each institute.
