NGLTF BOARD POSITION ON NAMBLA

 Washington, D.C. -- (May 26, 1994) -- The Board of Directors of the National
Gay and Lesbian Task Force (NGLTF) adopted the following resolution regarding
the North American Man Boy Love Association (NAMBLA) at its quarterly meeting
in Seattle, Washington, May 20 - 22, 1994:

 "NGLTF condemns all abuse of minors, both sexual and any other kind,
perpetrated by adults. Accordingly, NGLTF condemns the organizational goals
of NAMBLA and any other such organization.

 "NGLTF specifically notes that numerous studies have shown that the vast
majority of child molestation is committed by heterosexual men, usually with
members of their own family."
