     WHILE LIBERAL LESBIBAY DEMOCRATS BEAT UP ON REPUBLICANS
     THEY ARE ALSO HURTING THEIR OWN IN A COULD-CARE-LESS
     WITCH HUNT

     There is no doubt that the secrecy veil, which unfriendly 
     LesBiGays and Socially-Conservative-Fundamentalist           
     Republicans hang over the Log Cabin Progressive Republicans  
     movement, is effective in blocking out the essence of a "two 
     sides to ever story" theory. Seemingly, the off-the-center   
     left-and-right extremes have their own agenda (cloaked in a  
     covert one-sided freedom of speech and press approach) which 
     betrays the temperance of the politically social and 
     fiscally moderate American picture.

     Carmen Vazquez recently used her rhetoric, based in          
     intolerant social liberalism, to bash anyone and anything    
     that would reach out in compromise. In her one-sided
     version of betrayal (one that intimidates LesBiGays who are  
     not involved or under her political dooms-day tent) she 
     relentlessly attacks, smears and scorches.
  
     In contrast, Bob Roehr tempers reality by indicating that    
     Republicans gave HIV/AIDS programs millions even after       
     cutting HOPWA housing by sending more millions in windfall   
     funds to the omnibus bill. Roehr then addresses the smashing
     defeat of the Heferly Amendment by supportive Republicans.
     He sums things up by suggesting "despite all the rhetoric    
     and posturing, the final product of anti-gay legislation was 
     remarkable small" but that's contrary to what's being
     reported by a few organizations and a number of grass-root   
     rags.

     Some claim that life's unfair and perhaps so. But, in this
     heated election cycle, did anyone hear the "unfriendly"
     left or right complement the good work of moderates who      
     reach out in dialogue with Log Cabin Republicans and HRC?
     
     If you did not it may be the result of a "righteousness"     
     void some may not want to address in their political make    
     up.
