Date: Wed, 29 Mar 1995 12:16:52 -0500 From: INLGO@aol.com Toronto to Host 1995 INLGO Conference For the first time in its ten year history, the International Network of Lesbian and Gay Officials will hold its annual conference outside of the United States. Toronto, Ontario, Canada will be the host city for the conference set to take place the weekend of November 16 to November 19, 1995. Canada's openly gay and lesbian officials will host the conference at Toronto's Hotel Plaza II, 90 Bloor Street East. The hotel room rates are $102 (Can), which is about $75 (US), plus taxes. Reservations can be made by calling 1-800-267-6116. (Be sure to mention the INLGO conference.) Conference registration rates will be determined later this summer. A limited number of travel and registration scholarships will be available. Toronto has Canada's largest gay and lesbian community. It's friendly, active and concentrated in the Church-Wellesley neighbourhood - a five minute walk from the conference hotel. The city also offers visitors first-rate theatre, dining, and shopping (all within a short distance of the hotel).
