Erie Pride Picnic, June 10

The annual Bridges Pride Picnic is set for June 10, 1995, from 2:00 pm til
sundown at Presque Isle State Park.  (Presque Isle is less than a mile off
the Lake Erie coast directly across from the city of Erie, connected to the
mainland by a narrow isthmus.) The event is again at the waterworks area,
but has been switched to Cabin 2, across from beach 6, rain or shine.
There is no charge to attend, just bring a picnic dish and place settings.
Bridges will provide soda and charcoal for cooking.   The League of Gay and
Lesbian Voters will raffle off an espresso/cappuccino maker.

We urge you to bring along your rollerblades, bike, swimsuit, and suntan
lotion.  A volleyball net will be provided for pickup games.  Music, dancing,
and information tables will be located inside the cabin.  For those concerned
about being in public, rest assured that this semi-secluded area is ideal for
the event.  Everyone is encouraged to 'come out' and celebrate your pride and
the Erie area's accomplishments over the past year.  Call (814) 833-3258 for
more info or directions.  Remember, alcohol is not permitted on Presque Isle.
