GAY AND LESBIAN VICTORY FUND MEMBERSHIP 


HOW IT WORKS -- Thousands of Victory Circle, full and associate members read
the recommended candidates' profiles, decide which candidates to support (and
when), write their checks payable directly to the candidate's campaign, enclose
them in pre-paid envelopes (provided) and send them to the Victory Fund. 
Checks from Victory Fund members are combined and immediately sent to the
candidates as a massive show of community support.  If 100 members support
one candidate with contributions of $100 or more, that puts at least $10,000
directly into the candidate's campaign.  Early money helps move qualified
candidates from "fringe" status to "front runners."

ASSOCIATE MEMBERSHIP is granted to anyone who contributes between $35
and $99 to support the Victory Fund's candidate research, campaign training,
donor network promotion and technical support of openly gay and lesbian
candidates.  Although no further financial commitment is necessary, associate
members receive the newsletter and candidate profiles, and frequently make
direct contributions to recommended candidates.
                           
FULL MEMBERSHIP in the Gay and Lesbian Victory Fund is $100 or more. 
As a full members you will receive our quarterly newsletter    Victory   
special updates on important races and candidate profiles of qualified openly
gay and lesbians running for public office.  Full members agree to support at
least two of these recommended candidates with direct contributions of $100 or
more within a 12-month period.  Total Annual Commitment:  $300.

VICTORY CIRCLE MEMBERSHIP is $1,000 year or $85 per month (pledge).  As
a member of the Victory Circle you will all the benefits of full membership
plus recognition in newsletters, programs and promotional materials (if you
wish), regular updates on issues and candidates, and inside information from
the campaign trail.  You will also receive invitations to special occasions to
meet candidates, gain first availability for tickets to Victory Fund events and
receive the Victory Fund logo lapel pin.  Contributions from Victory Circle
members like you help build and strengthen the Victory Fund donor network.
