The Victory Fund will also provide updates on anti-gay ballot initiatives and other races of special concern to the gay and lesbian community. The November 8 Victory Night receptions are planned for Chicago, San Francisco, Los Angeles, San Diego, Miami, Fort Lauderdale, New York City, Kansas City, Washington DC, Denver, Portland, Raleigh/Durham, Phoenix, Austin, Columbus, Providence. "Our Victory Night receptions were one of the highlights of the 1992 election season," says Victory Fund Deputy Director Kathleen DeBold. "They are the perfect way for our community to honor openly gay officials and celebrate the strides our community is making towards electing our own. And, with a record 17 highly qualified gay and lesbian candidates in the running on election day, we'll certainly have a lot to celebrate."
