More Details on the 16th Annual International Conference for the 
Gay and Lesbian Parents Coalition International

THE CONFERENCE

The conference will be composed of three related sub-conferences: 

     The Parent's Conference will focus on issues of relevance to
     those who are currently parents, those who function in a
     parenting role, or those who wish to become parents.  

     The Young Adult's Conference and the Children's Conference,
     will examine topics of importance to the children of lesbian
     and gay parents.  

Each conference will feature workshops, guest speakers, special
events and entertainment.

In addition, a special workshop series will cover child development
issues, while another will focus on subjects of interest to those
considering parenthood in the future.

The conference will be held at UCLA's Sunset Village.  Conference
fees include all meals (Dinner Friday, June 30; breakfast, lunch
and Dinner on Saturday and Sunday; and breakfast and brunch on
Monday, July 3), workshops, entertainment, a closing-night banquet,
and three- night's accommodations at the Village.  Child care by
licensed professionals will be provided at an additional cost.

GLPCI

GLPCI and the conference is open to gays, lesbians and bisexuals in
parenting roles, their partners, children, and current or former
spouses, as well as those interested in becoming parents.  The
chapters and individuals members of GLPCI are dedicated to
improving the lives of their families through love, support and
educational programs designed to promote awareness, sensitivity and
tolerance.
