(c) 1996 Alan Hamilton Notes on Mosaic NOTES ON MOSAIC Some good help can be found under ["Help" "About..."] and, very surprisingly, from the [Help] button of the Window History window! Text slider controls "Click left" in the slider column (at the right edge of the Mosaic window) above and below the button move the button and text one screen in that direction. "Click middle" in the slider column brings the slider directly there. Particularly useful for going to the top or bottom of the document, or for scanning it for topics of interest. I have yet to find documentation on Mosaic hotkeys. The following are what I have figured out to date: "D" and "d" bring up the Document Source window (menu selection ["File" "View Source"]). "n" and "n" bring up a new window (menu selection ["File" "New Window"]). "A" and "a" bring up the Annotation entry window (menu selection ["Annotate" "Annotate..."]). "B" and "b" take you Back (menu selection ["Navigate" "Back"] or the [Back] button at the bottom of the screen). "F" and "f" take you Forward (menu selection ["Navigate" "Forward"] or the [Forward] button). "H" brings up your Hotlist (menu selection ["Navigate" "Hotlist..."]). "h" brings up the "Window History" (menu selection ["Navigate" "Window History..."]). "O" and "o" bring up the "Open Document" window (menu selection ["File" "Open {URL...|Local...}"] or the [Open] button). "S" brings up the "Find In Document" window. "s" brings up the "Save Document" window (menu selection ["File" "Save As..."] or [Save As...] button). Last uploaded on Febrary 21, 1996.
