Tune into _Outlook Video_, a gay/lesbian news and entertainment video
magazine shown on community access cable television and financially supported
by its viewers and local businesses.

Founded in 1987, _Outlook Video_ is a collective of gays, lesbians, and
bisexuals interested in all aspects of video production, with experience
levels ranging from professional to amateur. This unit joined the Jon Sims
Center for the Performing Arts in 1990 and is a sister unit to:the San
Francisco Lesbian and Gay Freedom Band/SF Winds of Freedom, City Swing,
AIRspace (Artists In Residence), and Bay Area Raw Rahs.

Produced and taped monthly by an all-volunteer staff in the studios of KMVT
in Mountain View, California,  _Outlook_ cablecasts throughout the San
Francisco Bay Area, Sacramento, Nashville, Dallas, Tampa, New Orleans,
Honolulu, and Winnepeg Canada. _Outlook_ has twice been named finalist of the
Home Town Video Award and twice nominated in the Bay Area Cable Excellence
Awards.

Committed to increasing the number of creative voices in the gay, lesbian,
and bisexual community, members work on scripting, anchoring, creating field
pieces, studio production, direction, editing, camera work, and producing.

The scope of events covered by _Outlook_ reflects the diversity of our
community. Projects have included the Bay Area Regional Gay Rodeo, the SF
Freedom Parade, 1993 March on Washington, Gay Games IV, and Stonewall 25. Two
segments of _Outlook_ are gay/lesbian film reviews and studio interviews
highlighting gays and lesbians in the performing, literary, and visual arts.

_Outlook Video_ seeks people who want to be on-camera interview guests or
self-motivated, new talent behind the camera in producing, directing,
editing, writing, publicity/public relations, fund raising/grant writing,
lighting, camera work, broadcast graphic design, tape operations,
