Today, I learned the owner of Outlines has received a legal letter from the owners of the phrase "Boys Town" (probably that kids thing in Nebraska, eh? I haven't seen the letter yet) telling us we must stop using the phrase. Should we just do as they say, or should we attempt resistance? I mean, I did not name the column after that Nebraska boys camp but rather after the neighborhood in which I lived, which is called Boys Town in the way other such neighborhoods in other cities are called "Homo Heights," "The Swish Alps," etc. Input is sought. =========== Rex Wockner =========== The owner of Outlines is Tracy Baim. outlines@suba.com I am Rex Wockner rwockner@netcom.com
