Here's the press release for the 1994 International
Conference to Celebrate Bisexuality (ICCB '94).  It's official now - copy
this and spread the word to all the bi or bi-friendly folk you know!

Remember - the Conference is Saturday, June 25.  Bi Pride '94 is all
weekend, same as Stonewall 25; we hope to bring many many bisexual folk
here to New York and have a truly wonderful Conference, as well as raise bi
visibility at Stonewall 25!

Tell your friends!  Tell your family!  Tell your pets!  Tell wealthy
philanthropists! :-) :-) :-)  But most of all, tell _us_ how you'd like to
help!  Not only is every registration appreciated (after all, money can't
buy love, but it can rent needed space and equipment for the Conference)
but any help at all, from showing this info to your friends to running
workshops or performing, is greatly appreciated.  

We hope to see you in New York in June!

       The 1994 INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE TO CELEBRATE BISEXUALITY (ICCB)
                             part of Bi Pride '94
             June 25, 1994  -  Greenwich Village  -  New York City

The New York Area Bisexual Network (NYABN) presents the 1994 International
Conference to Celebrate Bisexuality (ICCB), on Saturday, June 25th!  Our
Conference will take place as part of Bi Pride '94 (June 24-26), and in
conjunction with "Stonewall 25 - the Year of the Queer," as we join with
the Gay and Lesbian communities in celebrating our sexuality and heritage.

We are proud to feature Elise Matthesen as our keynote speaker; author, poet,
musician, storyteller and activist, Matthesen has contributed to the anthology
_Bi Any Other Name_ among other publications, and been active in the Bi
community both in and outside the Midwest for a number of years.

The conference will also feature workshops, entertainment, "bi buys" (vendors)
and lots of "bi-bi love."  All events will be held in the heart of Greenwich
Village (NYC), convenient to transportation and all other Stonewall 25
events. (Please call for information about accessibility and interpreters.)

The conference is being organized by an ad-hoc committee with help and
participation from BiNET USA, the Bisexual Resource Center (formerly ECBN,
the East Coast Bisexual Network) and NYABN.  All bi and bi-friendly folk
are invited and encouraged to participate, regardless of affiliation.

We need volunteers for every conceivable position:  organizers, workshop
facilitators, performing artists, marshals, administrative/clerical support,
and of course check-writers!  No matter how much or how little you think you
can contribute, any support you can give is welcome and appreciated.

Pre-registration fees, for applications and payments postmarked by May 1, 1994:

                $35 (US) for one person
                $50 for two people (Bring a friend and save!)
                $60 for three people (Save even more!)
                $20 per person for students (with valid ID).

After May 1, fees are $45, $60, $75, and $25 respectively.
Please call for vendor fees, or housing and scholarship information.

Note:  Registration fees are for workshops and other conference activities
and do NOT include accomodations.  If you will need housing, please call
for information and REGISTER EARLY!
