Some of my friends are planning Europride 96 - and I have promised to give
this information to all of you:
INFO/THEATRICAL?

Europride in 1996 will be held in Copenhagen.
Coincidentally, Copenhagen vill also be the host of 
Cultural Capital 1996, as the last
of ten cities to host this event. A lot of focus 
will therefore be on Copenhagen in
!996, a thing we gays and lesbians are not late to use.

Europride will therefore, amongst being a huge parade 
on Saturday June 29th, also consist of the days of 
heavy gay and lesbian cultural activity and manifestation 
- from June 21st to June 30th 1996. A few events will 
reach out before and past the above mentioned ten days, 
this being the case with The International Gay and Lesbian
Theatre Festival, which the rest of this letter will be about.

Europride 96 wants to bring a large portion of gay and 
lesbian dramatics to Copenhagen in 96, and we want to show 
you, what goes on in Copenhagen on this scene. We want as 
many different countries and groups as possible to participate.

Europride 96 would like to see a mix of professionelle and 
amateurs, that through the whole of June 96 can be seen on 
the streets, in the markets and in the theatres of
Copenhagen. Gays and Lesbians have many different faces - 
and many different messages. We would like to see them - 
and you.

The International Gay and Lesbian Theatre Festival is a place 
for all sorts of gay and lesbian dramatics - cabaret, serious 
plays, dance performances, streets antics, mime, you name it. 
One thing though - drag shows are not includet in this repertoire.

The arrangements and people behind the festival are all voluntary 
- so therefore there is no wage attached to a show - but the joy 
og being in Copenhagen to Pride is anyones to have! 
We can though secure private accomodation, one free warm meal 
a day and transportation to and from Copenhagen.

We need this from you:

1     A letter from you with following:
      A: The title of the play and its writer.
      B: Numbers of actors.
      C: A complete list of actors with their adresses and phone numbers.
      D: Number of technicians
      E: Presscuttings or other PR about the play.
      F: The gist of the play.
      G: Other plays you have been in (if any)

If you have a video of the play we would like to see it.

2     You must be able to play in either English or German.
3     You must be able to play 4 - 6 days.
4     The play must be of a duration from 1 to 3 hours (though shorter 
      plays may be considered)
5     Ligt and sound will be available to a certain degree.
6     As to transport, please send us documentation for the cheapest way to
travel
      from your home to Copenhagen.
7     We cannot decide how many actors you must have in your play, 
      but please make it as cheap as possible.
8     Be sure to send a phone number as well as an adress.
9     Your best days to play and the length of your stay.
10    You must write on a machine to avoid too many misunderstandings.

We would like to hear from you before August 1st 1995, so please 
go home and find all your ideas!
