TRANSACTIVE-L
                                       
This list focuses on Transsexual and Transgender political issues.  It is
solely for the discussion of TS and TG political activism, strategies for
educating society, and the empowerment of TS and TG people everywhere.
We will also discuss implementation of those strategies on an
international, national, and local basis.

TransActive-l is open to male-to-female and female-to-male transsexuals or
transgenderists who are living full time in the gender of their
choice, as well as supportive others with a strong commitment to the
betterment of society specifically regarding TS and TG peoples.  There will
be no exceptions.  This list is not for those who are questioning their
gender identity -- rather, it is geared toward those who have dealt with
or are dealing with these issues and taking the appropriate steps toward
resolution of these as well as post-transition political issues.

Discussions about hormones, passing, spousal approval, and any others
that are not political in nature are strongly discouraged.  There are
other lists for that -- ask someone if you need their addresses.

The list is not moderated.

This is a closed list. Subscription/unsubscription requests are approved by
the list moderators and their decision is final.

that our discussions will help to generate changes that will benefit all
people, transgendered and non-transgendered alike.
