ABOUT THIS LIST: 
(blatantly copied from the AUSGBLF mailing list FAQ)

The NZGBLF mailing list exists to cater to New Zealand gay, lesbian, bisexual,
and other non-heterosexually identifying people and friendly straights. There
are no membership rules. You do not have to be certified by any ISO standards.
You do not have to be a card carrying queer, heck, you do not have to be out.
While the list has a New Zealand focus, overseas visitors are welcome here.

The following list, while not exhaustive, are some appropriate ideas for use 
of the list:

	. discussions of queer issues
	  
	. distribution of information to members of the New Zealand queer
	  net community, as well as any groups or organisations that they
	  may happen to be attached to.

	. updates about upcoming conferences,  seminars, book launches etc

	. sharing of resource material, such as articles for publication in
	  campus newspapers, cute slogans, flyer/poster/sticker ideas, etc.

	. Activism: organisation of national days of action, kiss-ins, 
	  protests, action alerts and suchlike.

	. reporting of news of interest to queer communites, as well as
	  the discussion of any news (or pretty much anything else) or
	  pretty much anything else of interest to people queer..
    	  
        . asking questions about what is happening in New Zealand.        

	. anything else you can think of!
