GayMormons is an email group for people with varying degrees of
involvement in the gay community and/or the Mormon church who may
feel isolated or just want to enlarge their circle of friends.   It's
 purpose is to serve as a safe space for discussing issues and concerns
that many sexual minorities (gay/lesbians) share in connection with
Mormon culture.  This group also welcomes friends, and relatives of
"GayMormons".

GayMormons was started the Summer of 1994 by a small group of
friends.  Once it was made public on the internet, this email group grow
quickly.  Today there are more than 60 members.   The list generates
about 3 or 4 messages a day.  Everyone is free to share whatever they
feel without limits.  All that is asked is that everyone own their own
opinions and respect each other.
