Welcome to The GayChat Mailing List!!

GayChat is a email discussion list on which you can communicate by sending
an email to the list which will be read by all of the other subscribers to
the list. This will give you an opportunity to talk by email to make new
gay friends by issues and interests. GayChat list is made available, free
of any membership fees, to the international gay community. Please read
this bulletin in its entirety since it contains important subscriber
information.

TO SUBSCRIBE:

To subscribe to the regular list, send the following command in the BODY of
mail to:
Majordomo@LISTSERVICE.NET

subscribe gaychat

DIGEST

There is also a Digest form of the list (all of the day's messages are put
into one or more large emails per day). You can subscribe to the Digest
form by sending an email to Majordomo@LISTSERVICE.NET 
The message should read:

Subscribers to the GAY CHAT List can post messages about almost anything
from social and personal chat to discussion of serious issues. List owners
don't take any enjoyment out of canceling subscriptions but one should
expect a removal/change for bad behavior. The list owner reserves the right
to remove any subscribers who post messages that the owner deems offensive,
rude, and objectionable and contrary to the interest of the other
subscribers and the purposes of the list. The complete list of the rules

MEMBER PROFILES

We have put up a Profiles page for the list. Members may contribute
profiles, using the guidelines found on the page, and a picture if they
wish (under 100k, please). It's also a way for you to "see" who it is
you've been talking to on the list. Posting a Profile is entirely voluntary
and not necessary to be a member of the list. The page can be found at

Note: Comments, complaints, opinions, or posts concerning administrative
topics should be sent to the List Administrators and not the list. If you
are ever in doubt on whether to post or not, PLEASE contact the list
management at GCOwner@aol.com or wsgrant@artsci.wustl.edu and we will be
more then happy to render an opinion and assistance.
