Phones are ringing off the hook in the Governor's Office in opposition to the bill, because a conservative talk radio show that misrepresented the bill. The Colorado based Focus on the Family is also organizing a rally on the Capitol steps on Monday in opposition to AB 537 and other bills currently before the Governor. Our opposition is turning up the heat and we must respond. I know folks have been having trouble getting through to the Governor's Office, but please keep trying. The best time to call is between 8:30 a.m. and 5:30 p.m., but you should be able to fax around the clock. If you can't reach the Governor's Sacramento office, please try one of his satellite offices, they are also tallying support and opposition. We cannot give up the fight now.
