                                        The P.E.R.S.O.N. Organizing Manual

P.E.R.S.O.N. stands for Public Education Regarding Sexual Orientation
Nationally.
(Version 1.1, Release date September 11, 1995; Size= 927K; 327 pp.--disk,
pp. 451 hard copy**)

A directory of information for organizing for educational equity (k-12,
public schools) in the USA, especially via reform of curricular and
textbook policies to include fair and accurate information on LGBT people
and sexual orientation.  Includes extensive information on the process of
textbook adoption, suggested strategies, and absolutely massive amounts of
resource and networking information.

document may be reprinted, for free and without prior permission from its
authors, ONLY IF without change AND ONLY IF reprinted IN ITS ENTIRETY AND

On disk, send a Mac-formatted 3.5"  HD (1.4 MB) floppy and self-addressed
envelope bearing $.78 first-class postage to Jessea Greenman at the address
above.  This document is in Microsoft Word 5.1a. if you also want the 123
pp. of photocopied attachments, please send $9 (covers postage, copying,
and envelope) and a mac formatted hd disk.  If you are on the Internet, it
can be sent as an attachment to your Internet address, in which case, for
the 123 pp. of attachments, send $5 for postage, copying, and envelope as
per above.

Whole document (all states and DC), hard copy, send $18 for copying and
postage (check made out to Jessea Greenman at above address).  Include your
name & mailing address, CLEARLY PRINTED.  Manuals will be shipped by U.S.
Priority Mail.  [The $18 merely covers actual materials, priority mail
postage, and copying costs, not the labor entailed, which is donated].

ONLY your state, hard copy, (including the introductory chapter and the
voluminous reference/resource appendices) send $8 for copying and postage

in the electronic versionS since there are documents we could photocopy in
but had no time to type in and no money for a scanner to scan in. (Hint,
hint...anyone OUT there want to donate a scanner -- old and slow is fine,
b& w only is fine, as long as the software is Macintosh compatible -- to
our very good (but not yet tax-deductible) cause?  If so, contact us as
